Tuskl Emails

Last updated

Tuskl sends two kinds of email. A few you always get, like your login codes and billing notices. The rest are short summaries that keep your work moving, and you can turn any of them off, or pause them all, in one click.

The Summaries

All five are on when you start. Each one is skipped when there’s nothing to tell you.

Daily Deadline Alerts

Any morning something is due. A short email on days when a Product is due today, or has just become overdue. Each Product is mentioned on its due day and again the first day it’s overdue, not every day after that. Nothing is sent on a quiet day.

Weekly Planner — Monday

Monday mornings. The Products due this week, grouped by day, with anything still overdue at the top, so you can plan your recording days. Open This Week in Your Planner takes you straight there. Skipped on a clear week.

Waiting on Others — Wednesday

Wednesday mornings. Who still owes you something:

  • samples that haven’t arrived 10 days after you added them;
  • Fees and reimbursements still unpaid two weeks after approval;
  • brands you pitched who haven’t replied, and ones who’ve gone quiet since your follow-up. Tuskl never marks anyone as ghosted for you; that’s your call.

Loose Ends — Friday

Friday mornings. Finished Products you haven’t decided what to do with, items marked to sell that you haven’t listed after a week, and Listings that haven’t sold after a month.

Monthly Income Summary

The 1st of each month. What you earned the month before, how it compares with the month before that, and where it came from: Service Fees, Original Video Sales and Item Resale. The figures match your Income by Source report. Skipped if there was no income.

When They Arrive

Every summary goes out at the same moment for everyone, so it isn’t tied to your own time zone. In the US that’s about:

Where you are Summer Winter
Eastern 11 AM 10 AM
Central 10 AM 9 AM
Mountain 9 AM 8 AM
Arizona 8 AM 8 AM
Pacific 8 AM 7 AM

Your time zone (under Settings → General) still decides what counts as “today” and “this week”, and how dates read inside the emails.

Why Some Days You Get Nothing

Tuskl only emails when there’s something new to tell you. No due dates today, no email. An overdue Product isn’t repeated every morning either; it comes back in Monday’s planner. Silence means nothing new, not something broken.

Turning Them Off

Go to Settings → Notifications.

  • Turn off one email: switch off its toggle. It saves straight away.
  • Turn off all of them: switch on Pause All Non-Essential Email at the top. Tuskl remembers your individual choices, so they come back exactly as they were when you switch the pause off.

Every summary also has an Unsubscribe from these link at the bottom. It turns off just that one email. To get it back, switch it on again under Settings → Notifications.

Good to know: the summaries go to the account owner’s email address.

Emails You Always Get

These are part of running your account, so the settings above never stop them.

  • Login codes. Tuskl has no passwords. Each time you sign in, we email you a 6-digit code. It works once and expires after 10 minutes. If you didn’t ask for one, you can ignore it; nobody can sign in without the code.
  • Welcome and trial emails. A welcome when you sign up, then a few reminders during your 4-week free trial. They stop once you subscribe.
  • Billing notices. A heads-up if a payment fails, a notice if your subscription is cancelled, a receipt when you cancel, and a confirmation if you change your mind.

Didn’t Get a Login Code?

  1. Check your spam or junk folder for an email from hello@tuskl.app.
  2. Codes expire after 10 minutes. Request a new one and use the newest email.
  3. Still nothing? Email us at hello@tuskl.app and tell us the address you’re signing in with.
