See It in a Report

Last updated

Everything you’ve recorded so far, the Fees, the payments, the sales and the expenses, adds up in Reports. Open Reports in the side menu and pick a report by name.

Choose a Period

Every report has a Period at the top: This Month (the default), Last Month, This Year, Last Year, Last 12 Months, or Custom dates. Your choice stays put when you switch between reports.

Good to know: early in a month, This Month can look empty. Switch to Last Month or Last 12 Months to see more.

The Reports

  • Income by Source: what you earned and where it came from, split into Service Fees, Original Video Sales and Item Resale (net), with your expenses taken off to show what you actually kept.
  • Performance: how each Contact, Company or Creator did. Choose which with Group by. It shows what was agreed, what’s still outstanding, what got paid, and, for Contacts, how long you usually take to deliver for them.
  • Self-Purchased: what the products you bought yourself cost you, and what you got back by selling or donating them.
  • Resale Performance: which marketplace sells best, how long items take to sell, and how far below your asking price they go. Slow Movers lists everything still for sale, oldest first.
  • Expenses: where your money went, by category and by month, and how much of it belonged to a specific Product.
  • Outreach: how many of the brands you pitched replied, and which ones turned into Products.

How Tuskl Counts

  • Money counts when it actually arrives. A Fee counts in the month you marked it paid, and a sale in the month it sold. So a row can show a Fee collected this month for a Product you added months ago. That’s correct.
  • Resale is counted after selling fees, so it’s what you really took home.
  • Reimbursements are never income. They’re money paid back to you, so Income by Source shows them on the side, for your records only.
  • Products you bought yourself aren’t in Performance. They have their own Self-Purchased report.

A Summary in Your Inbox

On the 1st of each month, Tuskl emails you the month before’s income, using the same figures as Income by Source. If you’d rather not get it, turn off Monthly Income Summary under Settings → Notifications.

Can I Download a Report?

Not yet. Reports can’t be downloaded as a file. If you need your figures somewhere else, email hello@tuskl.app and we’ll send you a full copy of your data. See Get a Copy of Your Data.

That’s the Whole Life of a Product

You’ve added a Product, linked its Contact, moved it through its Steps, recorded the money, decided what happened to it, and seen it in a report. Every Product you add now gets the same treatment.
